Malaysian girl, 15, 'gang raped by up to 38 men for several hours after being lured to abandoned hut used as drug haunt'

The horrendous assault, suspects pictured, is said to have taken place in the northern state of Kelantan, Malaysia, on May 20. The girl is said to have met a friend, 17, before being lured to an empty hut - reported to be a drug haunt by local media. The men then allegedly took turns to rape her for several hours. Some reports are suggesting there may have been up to 38 men involved. Malaysian police have arrested at least 13 people, including a father and his two sons, over the alleged gang-rape, an officer said.

The mother-in-law of Bayelsa State speaker, Madam Ogboro Dark was yesterday kidnapped by unknown gunmen who stormed her community in the state around 2.00am.The gunmen shot sporadically as they made their way into her home and abducted her.

According to few villagers who witnessed the scene, the armed men entered the community through the waterside in three boats and were fast to leave as soon as they bundled the woman.

The State commissioner has confirmed the incident and says police will do everything to bring back the aged woman.

Boko Haram Has Exposed Nigeria

If a nation is at red alert, yet a terror group like Boko Haram strikes at will and ups the number of its victims, then such a country is obviously a cassava republic that cannot guarantee security of lives and property.
While Aso Rock makes noise about the determination of the government to bring back the abducted Chibok girls and also to finally thumb Boko Haram, the group continues to strike audaciously as it pleases – in Borno (four times, with the recent killing of forty soldiers and policemen), Kano and Plateau (twice).
It seems they want prove that this government has no clue of what it is talking about. Boko Haram wants to tell Nigerians that we live at their mercy. And that our so-called leaders are only making speeches – as usual.

Photos: Man Invents Condom that Covers Just the Tip Of Penises, Leaves Shaft Exposed

An American has invented a new condom which he says is stronger, safer and enables better sensitivity. And the new condom is called the Galactic Cap Condom (Penis Helmet)

This new condom sits only on the very tip of the penis, leaving the shaft exposed boosting sensitivity and enabling easier application. It was developed by LA-based Charles Powell after one of his friends contracted HIV.

Tragedy struck in Lagos, on Thursday, on the Eko Bridge, when the son of a former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rashidi Ladoja, died in an auto accident.

The incident reportedly occurred around 3.30 p.m, when the deceased, Adebola Ladoja's Volkswagen Golf car with Lagos registration number AKD 107 CJ, driving toward Lagos Island was crushed by a DAF truck, with registration number JJJ 59 XA driven by one Osaghai Justice Eko.

Tragedy struck on Tuesday afternoon at the Abuja home of former Police Affairs Minister Ibrahim Yakubu Lame as his two children suffocated to death in a locked car. Two-year-old Farida, who was Dr. Lame’s daughter, and her 1-year-old cousin Isah Abubakar Tahir died after being trapped for over an hour playing in one of the cars parked in the house.

Before you read this, a source at the Nigerian Presidency has denied this story. But all the same, local media reports have quoted the Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Boni Haruna, on Thursday as saying that President Goodluck Jonathan has announced amnesty for members of the Boko Haram sect as parts of his administration’s youths-friendly programmes and policies.

Police in India are hunting a gang of men who raped and killed two teenage girls, before hanging their bodies from a tree. The horrendous attack, in the village of Karta in the Uttar Pradesh region, is said to have happened on Tuesday night after the two cousins, aged 14 and 15, went missing from their homes.

NDTV reports the girls - from the low-caste Dalit community previously known as the "untouchables" - disappeared after stepping out to go to toilet in the bush as they had none at home, prompting their families to search through the night. Their bodies were found at dawn, hanging from
trees in an orchard, and post mortem examinations confirmed they had been raped before their deaths.

The Borno State Government has announced the murder of the Emir of Gwoza, Alhaji Idrissa Timta, by gunmen believed to be members of the Boko Haram militant sect.
A statement signed by Ambassador Baba Ahmed Jidda, the
Secretary to the State Government (SSG), said the emir was killed at about 9am today along Tashan Alade on the way to Biu town, headquarters of Biu Lo‎cal Government Area in Southern Borno.
He was in the company of the Emir of Askira, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibn Muhammadu Askirama and Emir of Uba, Alhaji Ali Ibn Ismaila Mamza, on their way to the funeral in Gombe today of the late Emir of Gombe. The emirs had elected to drive in the same vehicle to Biu to pick up the Emir of Biu to travel with them.

Nigeria’s Defense Headquarters has claimed that a prominent political leader from one of the northeast states ravaged by members of the Islamist terrorist group, Boko Haram, is sponsoring “a renewed campaign aimed at attracting international condemnation and indictment of the Nigerian military and its operations in the Northern part of the country.”
In a statement released today and titled “New Plot Against Operations of Nigerian Military,” the Defense Headquarters asserted that the ostensible campaign “is to rely heavily on doctored and falsified audio visual materials, some of which are already trending in the social media,” adding that the alleged plot “is to be coordinated and funded by a prominent political leader whose state is presently under the State of Emergency.”

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday evening in an interview on Channels Tv has warned the Nigerian military not to “play Public Relations propaganda” with the abduction of the over 200 missing school girls from Chibok. He says any information given out by the military or any other authorised body is taken seriously by the parents and so they need to mind what they say.

“It is a serious issue that is like a spear in the heart of the parents and whatever statement we make and action we take, if it will not really deal with the issue in a way that will bring those girls out safe and secure and make their families happy and will also give every Nigerian a sense of security, then such statements should not be made” he said.

He also said he would be pleasantly surprised if the Chibok girls were “returned intact.”

Police Uncover Hideout, Arrest 26 Lesbians In Delta State

Police detectives in Asaba, Delta State have uncovered a hideout of lesbians around Awai road Asaba and have arrested 26 suspects.

The public relations officer of the state police command, DSP Celestina Kalu who confirmed the arrest of the suspects, said they were arrested while allegedly having sex with one another at their hideout. The police spokesperson who explained that the suspects were caught naked, averred that the hideout harbours perpetrators of various criminal activities especially lesbianism.

Swansea snap up Fabianski from Arsenal

Fabianski, 29, has signed a four-year contract which will start on July 1, after his Gunners deal fully expires.

Having spent most of his career as a back-up, Fabianski insisted he had come to Swansea to be first choice.

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man, Mr. Paul Obiefule, for allegedly beating his 12-year-old relative, Onyedikachi Mbanozo, to death on Monday evening around 8.30pm. Onyedikachi, Obiefule’s wife’s brother, was staying with Obiefule, a bricklayer, and his wife on Omitola Street in the Agege area of Lagos.

Negotiation Is The Only Way + Reasons OBJ Held Meeting With Boko Haram’s Relatives- Shehu Sani

Mallam Shehu Sani a Civil Rights activist, has said the only way to gegt back Chobok girls is by negotiating with Boko Haram sect. He also said, people should desist from doubting if former president, Olusegun Obasanjo held a meeting or not in Ogun State with some relatives of Boko Haram members. Civil Rights activist, Mallam Shehu Sani, said in Kaduna Wednesday that he led a delegation of some families of suspected Boko Haram members to a meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo to find ways of securing the release of the abducted schoolgirls.

The Unity fountain where hundreds of peaceful protesters gather daily to remind our government to #bringbackourgirls today was turned into a market place to disrupt their peaceful protest which has been going on there on a daily basis. Some of the protesters said, ‘rented’ man and women gathered around the place pretending to be selling foodstuffs and ringing bells to attract buyers. They later started attacking the protesters when they refused to leave despite turning the place into a market. Convicted Boko Haram member, Kabiru Sokoto has pleaded with President Jonathan to grant him presidential pardon because he is innocent of what he was convicted for. He also said he promises to assist the government in its efforts to end Boko Haram sect.

Kabiru was convicted on a two-count terrorism charge and was found guilty of facilitating the commission of terrorism acts and concealing information from security agencies on the December 25th, 2011 bombing of St Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madalla, Niger State.

Google unveiled this self-driving car prototype Tuesday in California. The car doesn't have a steering wheel or pedals because, Google says, "it doesn't need them."

Google has revealed a prototype of its latest driverless car -- and this one doesn't even have a steering wheel.

The car will only have a stop and go button. No steering wheel. No pedals.

Unlike Google's previous self-driving vehicles, which have been based on conventional cars adapted to navigate around without a driver, this model has been designed from scratch.

"They won't have a steering wheel, accelerator pedal, or brake pedal... because they don't need them," Google said in a statement.

Obama: We stand for more lasting peace

Pregnant Pakistani woman stoned to death by her family members

Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- A pregnant woman is beaten to death by her relatives outside a court building. Her crime? To elope with the man she loved rather than marry the groom chosen by her family.

The terrible fate of Farzana Parveen, 25, is one shared by all too many women in Pakistan and elsewhere.

She was killed in the name of "honor," on the grounds her actions had brought shame on her family.

"I do not even wish to use the phrase 'honour killing': there is not the faintest vestige of honour in killing a woman in this way," UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said in a statement condemning the killing.
